We had a fantastic Baby-Wearing Workshop last night. We had a completely packed house filled with babies, mommies, daddies and parents-to-be! Julie Finn did an amazing job going over all the aspects of wearing your baby, and then demoed each style of carrier - touching on pros and cons of each. McKenzie Sheilds was on hand to demo her beautiful Bunchkin Designs, locally made mei tai style baby carriers and slings. The last hour and a half was dedicated to letting each family try on as many different carriers as they wanted, and gaining expert advice from Julie and McKenzie. Attending families enjoyed snacking on complementary gingerbread and chocolate chip cookies, while sipping on decaf chai lattes, hot apple cider, tea & coffee. It was a great way to kick of the month of December! Stay tuned for newly scheduled baby-wearing and cloth diapering workshops on the horizon in the spring.
